Road to the first Global Playoffs

02.07.2025

The first Global Playoffs of the Trackmania World Tour take place this weekend, featuring the 16 best duos from stage One.  Let’s look back at the three months of intense qualifying and all the details you need to follow the Global Playoffs on July 5 and 6.

Who’s qualified?

Stage One of the Trackmania World Tour 2025 concluded last weekend. Over 170 teams registered and participated in at least one of the twelve official tournaments and two community tournaments.

The best players and teams competed to earn as many points as possible and climb one of the three regional rankings: Europe-Middle East (EMEA), Americas (NCSA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC). While the battle was intense and closely contested among EMEA teams, the other two regions saw a smaller number of teams dominate.

In the APAC region, the Australian duo Mudda and Bren from Team Jetlag secured first place, finishing well ahead of teams Mahi and Russian Mafia. However, since these two teams are unable to participate in the Global Playoffs, the Australian roster Restless and the Singaporean team No Trainana will take their place in the competition.

In the NCSA region, reigning Canadian world champion CarlJr and his English teammate Pac from Team Puffbros triumphed over the other regional contenders. DG x Teskad, Damascus Gaming, and Wallcyon are the three additional teams that have earned their spots in the Global Playoffs.

It was in the EMEA region that teams fought the hardest to secure the top spots in the ranking and qualify for the first Global Playoffs. The four official tournaments saw different teams alternate between winning and securing podium slots. Ultimately, Team SWIFT with Epos and NuPrime reached the top of the ranking, just ahead of Team BOCA, from France, and Team DAWN from France.

In total, The Global Playoffs will feature the top 16 teams based on regional rankings:

  • 9 teams from EMEA
  • 4 teams from NCSA
  • 3 teams from APAC

This marks the first official cross-regional tournament of the season, where the best teams from each region will finally compete against each other.
