Tips & options for analogue devices.
It is less necessary for analog devices to use advantages provided by the game. Nonetheless, here's a rundown of what you can do: - Sensitivity - you can set it for each car individually in the Options menu. A sensitivity of more than 1 will reduce the amount of movement you need to do in order to do a 100% input. A sensitivity of less than 1 will make the steering more gradual (on a curve). Check this link out to see how sensitivity impacts your steering: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/yz3xpbv9pk. Values of 0.9-0.95 aren't a bad idea for alt-cars, but they aren't used widely. - Deadzone - works like a deadzone usually does in games; the game won't register your steering until this value. Useful for negating stick drift or tiny movements, but many people prefer to put it as low as possible. - Action Keys - a set of 5 buttons that toggle restricting your steering to 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% & 100% in order, called AK1 to AK5 by the community. For Stadium car these will clamp your steering (no change, except you max out at AK's value). For alt-cars these will scale your steering. Here's an example: if you were to steer 50% with AK1 enabled, you will actually steer 10% in-game (multiply 50% with 20%, which is AK1's value). If you're looking for very precise steering, you can bind AK3 to a button for the Rally car - otherwise they aren't very useful for analog devices.
