The Puffbros duo, Carl-Antoni “CarlJr” Cloutier and Thomas “Pac” Cole, won the first Global Playoffs after two intense days of thrilling racing between the 16 best teams in the world.
Puffbros confirms its status as favorites
The 2024 World Champion and runner-up used their experience, composure, and mastery of the official tracks to secure victory against the French team BOCA in the Grand Final.
However, the road to the title wasn’t all smooth sailing. Puffbros began by dominating all their opponents in the first stage of the tournament and won the first round of the double-elimination bracket. But they were then defeated 3-2 in a memorable semi-final by the French duo from team BOCA, Youen “Otaaaq” Egler and Alexandre “Binkss” Touche.
While the French duo brilliantly qualified for the Grand Final of the tournament by defeating Team SWIFT in the next round, Puffbros had to battle through the losers’ bracket to find BOCA again. On their way, they beat the team Nemesis, then German powerhouse BIG and finally SWIFT, currently first in the EMEA regional ranking.
After a thrilling Grand Final, Puffbros took revenge on the French duo 3-1. They won €2,500 and 2,000 NCSA regional ranking points!
Congratulations to all the teams for their qualification and participation, they put on a great show for the thousands of spectators present all weekend.

The road to the World Cup continues
The first Global Playoffs concluded the Stage One of the 2025 Trackmania World Tour season, and the Stage Two begins this week for all teams around the world!
The stakes will be even higher! In addition to qualifying for the second Global Playoffs, qualification for the Trackmania World Cup 2025 will be on the line. As a reminder, the top-ranked team from each of the three regions will qualify directly, along with the highest-ranked team from the second Global Playoffs.
Teams from each of the three regions will have a minimum of four official homologated tournaments to play between July and October, earning points in their regional ranking.
Moreover, all homologated tournaments will award 50% more points than those held during Stage One. With a new set of official tracks and the option to swap teammates, all teams still has a chance to secure qualification!
