2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Trackmania Nations Electronic Sports World Cup, a dedicated journey to esport that began in 2006 with foundational choices: the Stadium car for consistent gameplay, free access for all and national team representation.
From Carl’s victory at ESWC 2006 to the top-tier competitions of WCG, DreamHack, and ESL, and thousands of community tournaments, the history of Trackmania Esports has been shaped by passion and innovation. Highlights include ZeratoR’s Trackmania Cup and the rise of official circuits: the Trackmania Grand League, World Tour, and World Cup, where CarlJr confirmed his reign at the top.
With events like Red Bull Faster 2025 uniting 55,000 players from 156 countries and consistent leadership as Twitch’s most-watched racing game, driven by creators like Wirtual and others, Trackmania has become a legitimate leader of esport racing.
To honor this milestone, we are proud to release a special anniversary update on January 27, 2026, exactly 20 years after the launch of Trackmania Nations ESWC.
To align with this meaningful date, we are adjusting the campaign schedule as follows:
- Fall 2025 Campaign: extended
- Winter 2026 Campaign: launches January 27, 2026
- Spring 2026 Campaign: shifted (exact date to be confirmed soon)
- Regular quarterly cadence resumes on July 1, 2026
